CONNECTION STEPS

Here’s a simple step-by-step guide on how to connect the Dog Box (portable draught system) using a CO₂ cylinder— it’s the same principle as a bar tap setup, just compact and mobile:

What You’ll Need

The Dog Box (with built-in cooling coil and tap)

A COâ‚‚ cylinder (small portable one works great)

A COâ‚‚ regulator

A beer keg (or any keg containing your chosen beverage)

Gas line and beer line (usually included with the Dog Box)

Ice (to fill the Dog Box and keep everything cold)

Setup Steps

Chill the Dog Box

Fill with ice around the cooling coil.

You can add a bit of water to help the ice circulate evenly for maximum chill.

Connect the COâ‚‚ Cylinder

Attach the COâ‚‚ regulator to the cylinder.

Connect the gas line from the regulator outlet to the gas (IN) post on your keg coupler.

Tighten connections securely to prevent leaks.

Attach the Keg

Connect the beer (OUT) line from your keg coupler to the inlet of the Dog Box coil.

Connect the tap line from the outlet of the coil to the tap/faucet on the front panel.

Set the COâ‚‚ Pressure

Open the COâ‚‚ cylinder valve slowly.

Set the regulator to around 10–12 PSI for beer or around 20–30 PSI for higher-carbonation drinks (like sparkling cocktails or cider)

Test the Pour

Pull the tap to test your flow.

Adjust COâ‚‚ pressure or tap speed as needed for a smooth, foamy pour.

Tips for the Perfect Pour

Keep the Dog Box filled with fresh ice — colder lines = smoother pour.

Avoid shaking the keg — this increases foam.

Always release pressure before disconnecting the gas line.
