Hence best to use it in small amounts and blended with other flavors. In particular most commonly used to make liqueurs, cordials, and other spirits.

How to use Cardamom Pods Whole Botanical for distilling.

1. Firstly, start by adding a few cardamom pods to a container. A bottle, a jar, a pot, or anything else that you can use to store the distilled liquid.

2.Secondly, fill the container with cool to lukewarm water. Helping, the pods release their essential oils, flavor, and aromas.

3. Thirdly, let the mixture sit for a few hours, or even overnight, helping the essential oils and aromas of the cardamom to fully infuse into the liquid.

4. Strain the mixture to remove the cardamom pods.

5. Place the liquid in a pot and set it over low heat on the stove.

6. Allow the liquid to simmer gently until it starts to evaporate.

7. As the mixture starts evaporating, significantly becoming more concentrated and the flavor of the cardamom will therefore be more greatly pronounced.

8. When the mixture is reduced to a syrup-like consistency, remove the pot from heat and strain the liquid once more.

9. Bottle the distilled liquid and store it in a cool, dark place.

10. Enjoy your cardamom-distilled liquid in drinks, cooking, and more.
